The old part of the house has tall beamed ceilings, exposed stone and a woodburning stove. At the other end, the garden room opens through bifold doors onto the patio.

Cook on the AGA in the farmhouse kitchen, eat outside on summer evenings, or sit in the wooden river pod and watch the water through its round window. The beach at Newport Sands is about two miles away.

Please note the garden isn’t fenced along the river, so keep an eye on little ones and dogs near the water.
